FAQ

Sunroofs

Will my sunroof leak?

Inbuilt sunroofs are designed with an extensive water management system to direct the water that encroaches past the seal into a dedicated water channel and out through drain tubes, keeping the interior of your vehicle free from water.

Why does my headliner look different?

Installation of an aftermarket sunroof requires original headliner to be replaced with a new, upgraded headliner.

What is that loud wind noise?

As with any open window in a vehicle some wind buffeting may occur. This is completely normal, and can be reduced or eliminated by slightly opening another window to relieve the air pressure or by closing the sunroof 1-2 inches from full open.

What is the sunroof warranty coverage?

6 years or 60,000 miles.

Window Tint

To what extent can window film reduce the ingress of heat?

The heat rejection property of film varies from film to film. The reflective range of Sun control film rejects heat up to 80%.

Does window film reduce the chance of breaking of glass panes?

Window film, applied on glass can prevent flying glass splinters in the event of accidental breakage. However it does not reduce the chance of glass panes breakage.

What is the normal curing time for window film adhesive once it is applied on the glass?

Curing time for window film adhesive applied on glass depends on the factors such as film type, time of the year when film is applied, time of the day when film is applied etc. The recommended curing time for ordinary window film is at least a week from the day of application but some haziness and cloudyness may last up to 3 or 4 weeks.

Does window film require any special care after installation? How should I clean the glasses with film?

Main thing to remember is not to use anything with amonia as in windex. Use a alcohol base window cleaner and cleaning of windows can be done using soft cloth and water. Do not use any rough or abrasive material for cleaning.

Spoilers

What is the difference between a OE Style and a Custom Spoiler?

An OE Style or factory look-a-like spoiler is one that looks just like the spoiler that you could buy directly from the dealership. A custom spoiler is one that is made to fit the car, but does not resemble the factory. If you are looking for something with more style or flare to it, a custom spoiler is the way to go.

What information do I need if I want to place an order?

We need the following personal information: name, address, phone number and payment method (credit card or money order). We also need the following information about your vehicle: year, make, model, and paint color code.

Do I have to have a light in my spoiler?

It depends on where the existing third brake light is located. If the existing light is in the lower portion of the rear window, a spoiler would obscure that light, so a lighted spoiler would be required by law.

What material is the spoiler made of?

The spoilers are constructed of a blow molded automotive grade plastic (ABS). As a result of this, most spoilers weigh around 5 lbs., so trunk reinforcements are not necessary. The spoilers are also guaranteed for life against splitting, cracking or warping.
